Dear friends,

I hope that you are well and ready to have an exciting summer period.

I wanted to let you officially know that I will be organizing the 5th edition of the FYA symposium in London on February 27th to March 1st, 2025.

This year, following and implementing the successful last years’ editions, I planned to host two full days (Friday and Saturday) of super-interactive case-based discussions and hot topic debates, proper trademarks of the FYA format, and half day (on Thursday) dedicated to interactive hands-on workshops and the EU Med Tech Shark Tank, with selected start-up companies willing to present their technology to the big players on the market and to curious clinicians.

The FYA 2025 edition will also see the original peripheral format tripled, including a parallel Venous session, which we already hosted last year, and a brand new Aortic session, which will have dedicated programmes, separate parallel rooms and outstanding international Faculty, assorted by my two new co-directors Prof Stephen Black and Dr Michael Lichtenberg and Dr Michel Bosiers.

On Saturday morning, there will also be space for all the participants to come together in the main room for a “super plenary session”, which will include cross-sectional hot topics, the honorary lecture of this year “innovation award” winner and the vascular quiz.

Logistically speaking we expect to gather more than 500 participants from UK and Europe with an already confirmed multidisciplinary Faculty made of over 60 clinicians coming from different parts of the world.

As you can see every talk will have a 30-minute slot, with the actual presentation delivered from the speaker planned to last only 7-10 minutes. The scientific discussion will instead occupy the rest of the time, taking place during and after the lecture.

As from last year, flags will be provided to the participants, in order to participate to live polls included in the presentations. All this to promote the unique interaction within clinicians of different level of experience, very trademark of this event!

We can’t wait to welcome you in London!
